MESSAGE FROM THE FOUNDER
Welcome to JAOF University Institute of Science (JHIS), where we empower Cameroonian youth by providing them with knowledge (scientia sit potentia) and transforming their dreams into reality through hard work, honesty and determination. We value learning and our goal is to become the top private University Institute in Cameroon. This we intend to achieve through massive investment in research and development as well as offering students professional training in relevant courses that favor national as well as their personal growth. It is for this reason that we expect all our undergraduate students to carry out a supervised independent research project aimed at proposing practical solutions to an existing problem of national interest.
At JHIS we believe in the importance of career growth and development of our staff, reason why our faculty is a blend of renowned professors and recent PhDs. Our collaboration with State Universities in Cameroon as well as other foreign Universities provides the necessary mentorship, research opportunities and career growth for our young faculty. Together with a vibrant and enthusiastic student population, JHIS provides an ideal space for talent and skill development in a serene and inclusive community. In this way we strive to live up to the Institution's informal motto: to "transform the dreams of youth into reality."
I hope that this website will help you to understand the spirit that animates this University Institute, and I hope that you will find answers to at least some of the questions that brought you here. JHIS SIGNS MEMORANDUM OF UNDERSTANDING (MOU) WITH CT UNIVERSITY, INDIA.
The key highlights of the agreement between the two universities include identifying opportunities for the exchange of faculty, research staff, administrative staff, and students. Both institutions will collaborate on the joint supervision of Master’s and Ph.D. program students, fostering a rich academic environment.
The JAOF University Institute of Science (JHIS) and CT University have entered into a collaborative agreement aimed at fostering closer academic ties and establishing joint programs in areas of mutual interest and benefit for both institutions. This groundbreaking agreement marks the beginning of a new era of academic excellence, research, and cross-cultural exchange, offering countless opportunities for both universities. The primary objectives of this Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) include training students and staff from both institutions, organizing research and publication seminars at each university, fostering partnerships and networks between India and Cameroon, facilitating student and staff exchanges, and conducting joint supervision of student projects, dissertations, and publications.
